Szymon Lassak is the Creative Executive at Working Barn Productions, where he helps to create and develops projects that entertain, inspire, and challenge perspectives while committing to nurturing new talent.
Prior to Working Barn, Szymon worked at Walden Media, where he served as the Development Coordinator under Naia Cucukov, and helped lead a diverse range of film and television projects. He was involved in the creative development and production of Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning series THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB, Apple TV+’s political thriller MANHUNT, and Apple TV+’s record breaking sci-fi feature FINCH to name a few projects.
Before his time at Walden Media, Szymon was the Manager of Development and Production at Howie Mandel’s Alevy Productions, where he helped create and oversee a slate of unscripted television projects which included CARAOKE SHOWDOWN and HOWIE MANDEL’S ANIMALS DOING THINGS.
Szymon grew up with a passion for film and tv as kid in Chicago, sneaking onto any productions he could find his way on, which led him to persuing his BFA at Columbia College Chicago. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles with a desire to help tell authentic stories from a queer persepctive, that would help audiences escape from the every day craziness of life.
